chech it out!

My name is Clint. I'm a designer, an illustrator, a coffee drinker, a bicycle rider, an over-analyzer, a beard grower, a music lover, a worrier, a lister-of-things.

"FaceBrush" (pen, watercolor, beard on board)
This was my submission for the "Extinct" show at Studio &. Artists were called to create a work of art based around the extinction of a tool they use.  Here is my statement for the show:
"For this project, I imagined a not-so-far future where animals become completely independent from the human race. They refuse to trade with humans…which means we no longer have animal hair products, mice to test science with, etc. Also, in this not-so-far time, we’ve depleted a lot of other things, like nylon, spam, a short-lived reserve of jetpack fuel and hoverboard energy cells, and wall clocks. All this results in me not having paintbrushes in the future. Luckily, the answer was right in front of my face…below my face, growing from my face, to be more specific. I rested in the assurance that if paintbrushes were to become extinct, I always had my trusty beard. So this piece is dedicated to (and painted with) my beard. I love you, Beard.”
