“catch for us the foxes” (pen & watercolor)
i finally finished this fox for my friend amylee!
fox sketch: round 3
more sketching today…nothing big. i’ve also had a couple questions about “art utensils.” i’ve included a photo of my favorites.
for drawing: non-photo blue pencil from my local art store for first layer. prismacolor col-erase tuscan red for second layer. an old kimberly f pencil and whatever .5mm mechanical pencil i have lying around for final layer (plus some sweet eraser caps for the pencils that don’t have erasers!)
for painting: black microns on arches 90lb coldpress watercolor paper (it eats up the 005 micron, but i haven’t had a chance to experiment much w/ paper selection). grumbacher watercolor. and some tiny brushes.
