Our Artist Series Button collaboration continues with illustrator/designer Clint Tillman Reid. We’ve said it before but it’s because every word is true…this Durango, Co native hooked us with his blog which is infused with this great mix of his drawings, dream-like illustrations, and a way of treating his fans like friends.

so, my original “hunting season” illustration made it all the way to france, and its new owner, romain, was kind enough to send me a photo! interesting side-note: romain is from france, and has a gun-shaped ruler. i have a gun-shaped ruler that my friend jess got me…from france. awesome, right?! thanks romain!
getting my art ready for this show…it’s going to be a blast!
Studio & is very excited to announce the upcoming Previously Entitled show.
For this show we gathered two groups of 21 artists. One group of “Titlers” and one group of “Creators.” The Titlers were asked to write titles and submit them. Then, back in early December, we gathered the Creators and they randomly drew a title out of an old wooden box. It was then up to the Creators to make a piece with that title.
Previously Entitled is intended to be an experiment in collaboration and process. And I know from talking to some of the Creators that it has been a really challenging and fun couple of months.
The fruit of the whole thing will be displayed at Studio & on Friday, February 24, from 5-9pm. We hope that you can make it out and celebrate this experiment with us. It should be something.

i’ve posted these two original illustrations on bigcartel (“doubt it” and “beard kitten: espresso”), framed in some sweet old thrift store frames i found. i made these arts with my bare hands, hunched over at my desk, probably while watching cartoons and drinking coffee. thanks for cheching it out!
