"Entry" & "Exit" have been hanging on my wall for a while now, and I decided to post them at store.tillmanproject.com in case anyone would like to give them a new home!

I just posted two original stump paintings for sale at store.tillmanproject.com! I had a blast drawing on these stump sections. I knew when the tree came down in the backyard, something fun had to be done with it!

"decompresso" (pen, watercolor, stain - 12”x12”)
This piece was created and sent to London for the 2014 Coffee Art Project. It’s a good program benefiting a good cause, check it out if you’re in the neighborhood. My statement for the piece:

Whether it’s hand-grinding beans for a pour over at home, or sitting down with my sketch book and a flat black at a coffee shop, the art of coffee is an art of decompression. Outside pressure gets pressed back with the slow drop of a french press. Stress gets crossed out with each pencil mark. With art and coffee, I try to focus on the process, and not worry about the result. It just feels better that way.
